Himal has 30 years experience in business strategy, marketing and communications including:

Himal founded Fathom Strategies in 2004. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Partner at Advance Planning & Communications for 10 years. Before joining Advance Planning, Himal held progressively more senior positions in the advertising agency business, latterly as a Client Service Director at Cossette Communication Marketing in Toronto.

Himal was publicly credited with creating the strategy that won the NBA franchise for the Toronto Raptors in a hotly contested franchise battle.

His volunteer activity includes serving as Chairman of the Bishop’s College School Foundation.

He was born in the Himalayas, has lived on three continents, survived the Biafra war, and is married with two children and three dogs.

Cheryl Row

Cheryl has 30 years experience in business strategy, marketing, branding and consulting. Cheryl was classically trained in packaged goods and went on to work in senior positions in:
  • travel
  • tourism
  • technology
  • food service
  • publishing

Her record in each area is one of producing consistent results.

Cheryl was formerly VP Marketing at Ontario Tourism where she was credited with the development of the complex Tourism Recovery Program in response to the SARS crisis.

She was also:
  • VP Marketing at My Travel
  • General Manager, Consumer Products for Delrina Technology
  • Director of Marketing and Sales at Southam Newspapers

Cheryl spent the first fifteen years of her career in marketing at Procter & Gamble, working in Canada, Australia and the UK.

Cheryl’s volunteer activities include service at Casey House Aids Hospice and the Toronto Cricket Club.

She is married with a grown daughter. Her interests include squash, golf and piano. Cheryl is an avid reader.

Jennifer Robinson

Jennifer's background is in management consulting and digital marketing with a specialty in technology start-ups. Jennifer started her career in sales at IBM and then spent six years with The Daggerwing Group, an Omnicom subsidiary that specialized in applied marketing consulting services. At Daggerwing Jennifer developed marketing and customer strategies with the following clients:

Based on Jennifer’s work at Daggerwing, she was tapped by sister firm Critical Mass, a tier one digital agency, to become VP, Managing Director of the Toronto Office. Clients included Michelin Tires, Georgia Pacific Consumer Products, Dixie Brands, Medco, Luxxotica Eyewear, President’s Choice Financial, and Warner Brothers. Jennifer’s team was also responsible for winning the highly coveted NASA business and for creating the award winning Nasa.gov website.

Recently Jennifer has been helping App developers with their overall business strategy and go-to market plans.

Jennifer’s current volunteer activities include mentoring young women with Wired Women and serving as a marketing committee member for The School of Philosophy.

Jennifer is married with a young son. Her interests include cooking, snowboarding and running. Jennifer is an avid reader, movie watcher and consumer of media.
